The problem
A community had been defrauded and left with nothing. Rebuilding meant launching during the worst week of the bear market, with no treasury and no goodwill left to spend.
What I did
- Helped the community identify the original project’s owner and refer them to law enforcement.
- Designed the mint contract so a free mint could still route part of the gas spend to the project treasury, which is what funded continuing at all.
- Launched in November 2022, during the FTX collapse.
- Worked on escrow contract design for contract-ownership transfers and async work settlement.
